If you working with mods make a shortcut on desktop to the data folder and mod load folder! Another shortcut to downloaded mods folder, etc. As a back up, but also so you can just see what a clean install is and manually delete files. Make a copy of the data folder before installing any mods. If you find the original mods files then you can find what other files were installed in the data folder or other folders and successfully remove mods.
If you delete those, the mods are deleted.īut if your mod load order list is trying to load mods you no longer have, I think it may crash? I havnt made this mistake. esp files in the data folder are the mods.
